Today I received my accommodation offer! I got my first choice residence hall:
It's called Devonshire and it is "an impressive historic building in a picturesque Victorian cul-de-sac." It's only a 15 minute walk from the campus and has "an active social calendar." Though I do know my room number, I don't know how many people I will be sharing with or who they are. Devonshire is really close to two other residence halls, so hopefully that means it's a pretty friendly environment. They also say it is a short bus ride from Headingley, a lively student area with shops, bars and restaurants.
